FCI的全稱是：Federation Cynologique Internationale--世界養(yǎng)犬聯(lián)合會（也翻譯為"世界畜犬聯(lián)盟"）。它是一個國際性的犬業(yè)機構，總部位于比利時的Thuin省。

雖然是一個統(tǒng)一的國際性組織，但是FCI有比較強兼容性，它包含有79個成員機構，其中日本的JKC，法國的SCC，還有中國臺灣的KCC等機構都是其成員機構。這些機構都保留有自己的特性，但都歸屬于FCI統(tǒng)一管理，并且使用共同的積分制度。

FCI的主要職責

監(jiān)察其會員機構每年舉辦4次以上的全犬種犬展。

統(tǒng)一各個犬種原產國的標準，并廣泛公布。

制定國際犬展規(guī)則。組織、評審以及頒發(fā)冠軍登錄頭銜。

制定協(xié)會成員國血統(tǒng)記錄，認定犬種標準。

第一組：牧羊犬和牧牛犬（不包含瑞士牧牛犬類）

第二組：平犬和雪納瑞-獒犬-瑞士山地犬和牧牛犬以及其它品種

Pinscher and Schnauzer - Molossoid breeds - Swiss Mountain and Cattle Dogs and other breeds

Section 1: Pinscher and Schnauzer type 平犬和雪納瑞犬類

Section 2: Molossoid breeds 獒犬類

第三組：梗犬
